SLEEPIFY Privacy Notice

This notice explains how Speechify, Inc. processes information when an adult uses SLEEPIFY.

Built for adult use

SLEEPIFY accounts are for parents and guardians. We do not offer child accounts or ask children to interact with the service. Adults may optionally enter a child’s nickname and age band; do not provide a full name, exact birth date, contact information, location, school, health information, photo, voice, or other sensitive details.

Information we process

• Adult account information handled through Clerk, such as email address, account identifier, and authentication data.
• Story choices supplied by the adult, including an optional nickname, age band, themes, characters, mood, and requested length.
• Generated story text and narration stored in the adult’s private library.
• Basic device, request, diagnostic, moderation, rate-limit, and security information needed to operate and protect the service.

How we use and disclose information

We use information to authenticate adults, create and store private stories, moderate generated text, provide support, prevent abuse, and diagnose failures. Clerk provides authentication, Railway provides hosting and database infrastructure, OpenAI processes story choices and generated text, Speechify processes story text for narration, and Cloudflare R2 stores audio. These providers receive only the information needed to perform their services. We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and device storage

SLEEPIFY and Clerk use cookies or device storage necessary for authentication, security, and session continuity. SLEEPIFY does not currently use advertising cookies or optional behavioral analytics.

Retention and deletion

Story choices, generated text, and audio remain until the adult deletes the SLEEPIFY account. Account deletion removes active SLEEPIFY story records, stored audio, and the Clerk account. Limited security, legal, or provider backup records may remain only as reasonably necessary and subject to provider retention cycles. We do not retain personal information indefinitely for an unrelated future use.

Your choices and rights

An adult can delete the account and its stories in Story Studio. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of personal information and to appeal or complain to a regulator. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right. Email support@vidifyads.com; we may verify your identity before completing a request.

Security and international processing

We use encrypted transport, account-scoped access, private object storage, automated safety review, and authenticated audio delivery. No online service can guarantee absolute security. SLEEPIFY and its providers may process information in the United States and other countries subject to applicable safeguards.

Children’s privacy

SLEEPIFY is designed for an adult to operate while creating content to share with a child offline. The service does not knowingly collect personal information online directly from children under 13. If you believe a child has interacted directly with SLEEPIFY or submitted information, contact us so we can investigate and delete it.
